Add your website

Before you can start tracking analytics data, you need to add your website to the app. This enables the system to generate a unique tracking code for your domain.

To do this, go to https://loglesk.io/sites/new or click “Add a website” button on the homepage.

Step 1: Enter website domain #

Fill in hostname of your website without https:// and www parts. For example, if your site is https://www.example.com then the part to enter in the “Domain” field is example.com.

Step 2: Select your reporting timezone #

Select the time zone that matches your website’s audience or timezone of your location.

Choosing the correct reporting timezone is essential for accurate analytics. This setting determines how your traffic data is grouped by day and hour in your reports. Metrics like daily page views and sessions are aligned to your selected timezone.

For instance, if you select “(GMT+02:00) Europe/Oslo” then the beginning and the end of each day of your reporting is calculated based on the time in Oslo, even if your visitors come from Chicago or Tokyo.
